The 1980s were also a pivotal decade for design, characterised by a fusion of technological innovation, stylistic experimentation and a return to bolder and more colourful shapes, in contrast to the minimalism of the previous years. For Baleri Italia, 1984 marks the year the brand was founded, and the beginning of a history studded with excellent collaborations: from the partnership with Philippe Starck, as exciting and explosive as a Madonna video, to the partnership with Hannes Wettstein, as iconic as the fall of the Berlin Wall. The beginning of a design story that continues today, with new perspectives that celebrate, rather than deny, the spirit and products of those fabulous, fabulous '80s!
